WHY SHOULD I HAVE PHOTOSHOOT WITH MY DOG? You may already have a million photos of your dog on your phone and social media. The whole idea of having a photo shoot is to have a high - quality photos that can be printed and displayed around your home. Art you will look at and enjoy daily. This is the reason I edit each image individually. I want to spend more time editing your photos so I can be sure you will love them, rather than delivering hundreds of photos you will view once or twice and forget about. Dogs are with us for a limited time and are a part of the family. Print your memories before they are gone.
HOW DO I PREPARE FOR MY SESSION? Practice some of your favourite tricks with the dog before the session. A short grooming session is also recommended.
WHAT SHALL I BRING WITH ME TO THE SHOOT? Please make sure to bring loads of treats for your dog. You are welcome to bring your dog's favourite toy or anything that motivates them and makes them happy. I recommend taking the harness off for photos. A thin collar and lead would work best.
WHAT TO WEAR FOR THE SESSION? Whatever you like! Please dress appropriately for the weather. If you'd like photos with your dog and want to wear your favourite outfit, go for it! Wear comfortable shoes. We will be walking quite a lot.
HOW MANY DOGS CAN I BRING TO THE SESSION? You can bring up to two dogs to the session if you are their owner. Any additional dogs from the same owner = £10 extra per dog.
MY DOG IS NERVOUS/OLDER/REACTIVE/MUST STAY ON THE LEAD. WILL THIS BE A PROBLEM? Not at all! I always recommend Lakeside Country Park as a perfect and peaceful photoshoot location. Dogs must stay on a lead around the lakes. We don't have to worry about other dogs harassing your dog. Plus, you are guaranteed to have beautiful photos in this stunning location. With the magic of Photoshop, I can remove leashes and most collars from your photos.
MY DOG WON'T SIT OR STAY, DOESN'T KNOW ANY TRICKS. CAN WE HAVE A PHOTOSHOOT? Absolutely! My sessions are stress-free. I will never ask you to do something you are not comfortable with. If the dog is full of energy, we may put them on the lead for when I'm taking photos to make sure you got some lovely portraits. I will also take action shots of your dog running and living his best life.
WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS ON THE DAY OF THE PHOTOSHOOT? I will check the weather and email you 24 hours before the photoshoot. Should weather conditions be deemed unfavourable, we will reschedule the session free of charge.
WHAT IS THE BEST WEATHER FOR A PHOTOSHOOT? The ideal weather for a photoshoot is slightly overcast and not too sunny.
HOW DO I PAY FOR MY SESSION? You can pay for the entire session or a deposit first and the remaining balance at least 48 hours before the photoshoot. Whatever works best for you! I offer very flexible methods of payment. If you have any questions, please let me know.
WHAT IS THE DEPOSIT TO SECURE MY BOOKING? £10 deposit is required to secure your booking. Booking fees are non - transferable and non - refundable.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO PURCHASE ADDITIONAL PHOTOS IF I CAN'T CHOOSE AND LIKE MORE THAN WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE PACKAGE? Yes! All the packages come with the option to purchase additional digital files and prints/products of your choice.
CAN I HAVE PHOTOS WITH MY DOG? Absolutely! I always encourage my clients to have photos taken with the dog. These photos are the most precious. Although most people don't like to be in front of the camera, my clients always end up downloading at least one picture with the dog.
CAN WE COME AS A FAMILY AND HAVE SOME FAMILY PHOTOS WITH THE DOG? Of course! Dogs are part of the family and should always be included in the family photos!
WHAT IS YOUR EDITING PROCESS? WHAT DO I PAY FOR? After the session, I will edit each of your photos individually. I don't use presets that can easily be applied to all the images. After a few minutes... the job is done! You can do this yourself! I start my editing process in Lightroom and finish in Photoshop. I usually spend between 45 minutes to 2 hours editing a single photo to achieve a natural-looking, colourful photograph that is true to my style. I want to make sure that your photos look beautiful and that you got your money's worth.
DO YOU OFFER BLACK & WHITE PHOTOGRAPHY? Yes! Black & White photos are available on request.
HOW LONG WILL I WAIT FOR MY PHOTOS TO BE DELIVERED AFTER THE SESSION? It usually takes around a week from the day of the session for your photos to be edited and delivered to you.
WHAT PRODUCTS DO YOU OFFER? I work with one of the best printing labs in the UK and offer high-quality photographic prints, fine art prints, desk frames, wall art and more. I will send you all the information and pricing list after I edit and deliver your photos.
WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SOCIAL MEDIA AND HIGH-RESOLUTION DIGITAL FILES? Social media files are designed to be enjoyed on screens (smartphones, computers, email, social media) high-resolution files are made to be printed.
WHEN AND WHY DID YOU START YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY JOURNEY? I started my photography journey in 2019, shortly after I got my dog, Basil. I found photography and being around dogs very relaxing and satisfying. I would carry my camera everywhere and practice photography while my dog was having fun. I enjoyed editing photos and the creative part of photography, so in 2021 I decided to go one step further. I booked my first clients and sold my first images.
DO YOU OFFER GIFT VOUCHERS? Yes! Digital gift vouchers are available on request. You can print them yourself or send them as a surprise via email to someone you love. These vouchers are a perfect gift for every dog lover out there!
DO I PURCHASE ANY ADDITIONAL PRODUCTS AFTER THE SESSION? Only if you love your photos and want to invest in high-quality products. I will send you all the information about the products I offer. I will never pressure you. I want to make your experience stress-free from start to finish. However, if you are happy with my work, I appreciate it if you could leave a review on Google.
